Supreme Court turns down Conroe-area killer
Michael James “Romeo” Perry was convicted of the slaying of 50-year-old Sandra Stotler during a burglary of her home near Lake Conroe eight years ago.
The 27-year-old Perry also was a suspect but never was charged in the slayings of Stotler’s 16-year-old son, Adam, and an 18-year-old friend, Jeremy Richardson.
Perry was driving Adam Stotler’s SUV when he was arrested following a police shootout and says a confession he made to police is untrue.
He does not have an execution date.

There is a lot to this case, and I for one, am still shocked that Jason didn't get the death penalty.
Your comment pp-person was civil until the end. Michael Perry was adopted. He probably would have turned out the same way regardless. But your comment is full of hate and ignorance. "

Why has he not been executed already ?
I like the middle eastern policy,
" keep him in jail just long enough to send out invitations for people to come watch him get his head cut off " maybe a week at the most !! 8years ? how much has that cost the tax payers so far ?? "

there are people on death row that have been there since the 70's. surely their appeals are done by now?!?!?!? "

If the state is going to take the ultimate step of taking not just their liberty, not just their pursuit of happiness, but their very life from them, we should at least take the time to make sure we get it right. If that means we dilly-dally on the appeals process to allow adequate safeguards to work the kinks out, so be it. I'd rather the criminal justice system move at a snail's pace rather than that of a railroad. "

If the murderer was adopted, my last statement is truer than I thought! My 'hatred and ignorance' may have saved three lives! Or do you think the murderers are more important? We will never know if 'he probably would have turned out the same way' if he hadn't been unwanted as a baby, now do we? "

i was too young to remember this case. Wow are supreme court did something good. good job at denying his appeal. i read up on some of this. WOW you get caught once and claim your the person you just murdered in his car and have his idenification. Then when you get caught again you are driving his moms, another victims of yours, stolen suv and want an appeal... you were convicted wrong.... hmmmm ummm i think not, your lawyers and you have some balls trying get your case to the supreme court, you were basically caught red handed. I feel for the family of the victims when he gets put to death for just one murder instead of three murders, i feel for Jeremy's mother that she will not get justice for her sons life stolen and the rest of Adams family left to grieve. I hope by the time they set a date it will be for three murders not just one. "

mamashugl- i dont blame his adobted family im sure they did everything possible to raise micheal right. But i dissagree with you saying Michael Perry was condemned from birth due to his birth mothers actions. No everyone controls their on life and their on actions you cant blame your parents your situation or anything on what you do. You make the choice on how you use the life god gave you for good or evil.
He was tried and convicted as to murder. the evidence he provided in his story, if i was on a the jury i would have found not guilty. But thats just his side. I also would have convicted kristin willis seems to me she got away with 3 murders. but i dont know all the facts and evidence and he got deny his appeal so i guess he was convicted right.
I still feel the injustice for adam and jeremy what about them?? doesnt there slaying matter also weres the justice for the victims and their family left behind??? "
New Yorker wrote on Nov 17, 2009 3:20 PM:
1. His confession does NOT match the evidence found at the crime scene. 2. There is absolutely no physical evidence linking him to the murders. 3. The states star witness was given immunity from prossecution even though she had high velocity blood back spatter on her shirt (A piece of garbage named Kristin Willis). 4. The police went to at least 2 witnesses' house' while they were looking for Perry and Burkett telling the witnesses they were investigating a triple homicide but in court, police testified they did not know about the murders of the boys until AFTER Michael confessed. 5. Willis came into the Nitelife bar crying saying that Burkett "made me do it". 6. The medical examiner at trial testified that he believes that Sandra did not die on the 24th of October but on the 26th when Perry was in jail. These are facts in evidence so don't take my word for it. Look it up for yourselves.
These are some of the problems I have with this case and there are many more. I have been investigating this case for over 2 years and I will tell you all that there are serious problems with it. I fully believe that Michael Perry is innocent and should have never been convicted. "
