The Woodlands Chrsitian Academy (5-3, 1-2): Warriors lost to Brazosport Christian 36-28 last week. ...QB Troy Williams threw for 279 yards and had TD passes of 85 and 75 yards to Jordan Bruce and a 20-yarder to Martin Cronin. Williams also had a 70-yard touchdown run. ...TWCA has clinched a playoff spot; has a chance to make it a home game depending on other factors.
Galveston O’Connell (4-4, 2-1): Buccaneers defeated Beaumont Legacy 36-19 last week after trailing by four at the half. ...In the game, James Jones rushed for 88 yards and three touchdowns, while Drew Rios had 124 yards rushing, including a 15-yard score. Jerome Birdow forced a fumble on a sack, leading to a return touchdown by Corey Lee.
