TWCA Warriors fall to Katy Faith West 35-18

THE WOODLANDS — The Woodlands Christian Academy quarterback Troy Williams left the game in the third quarter with a leg injury in the Warriors’ 35-18 setback against Katy Faith West in a TAPPS district game Friday night.

Williams, who ran for 141 yards on 14 carries and threw a TD pass, was taken to the hospital for x-rays.

The Warriors got a 5-yard TD pass from Williams to Jordan Bruce, a five-yard run by Cody Grimes and a three-yard run by Kyler Ferris for scores in the contest.

TWCA fell to 5-2 and to 1-1 in the league, while Faith West is 6-1 and 3-0.
