Meet the candidates
By VALERIE JONES
Candidates vying for positions on the Klein Independent School District Board of Trustees will participate in a candidate forum Thursday, Oct. 22 in an attempt to introduce themselves to the community as well as answer questions.
Positions 3, 4 and 5 are up for grabs, with Position 4 incumbent Steve Szymczak is running unopposed.
Spring resident Marc Margolis will run against incumbent Jim Smith for the Position 3 seat, while Jean Casagrande and Ronnie Anderson, both of Spring, look to nab Position 5. Nancy Radcliffe currently holds the Position 5 seat, but she announced earlier this year that she would not be seeking re-election.
The candidate forum will take place at Klein High School Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
The trustee election will be Tuesday, Nov. 3.
