Local teen competes in pageant, seeks sponsors

Brittani Patton, of Humble, was recently selected to participate in Nationals’ 2009 Miss Jr. Teen Houston pageant competition that will take place on Oct. 4. She is a 10th-grader at Humble Christian School.
Brittani will be competing in the Miss Jr. Teen division, one of four divisions that will have young ladies between the ages of 7 and 19 competing in modeling routines which include casual wear and formal wear. Personality is the No. 1 aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition.
There is no cost to Brittani for participating in the pageant. Community businesses, organizations and private individuals will assist her in participating in this year’s competition by becoming an official sponsor to her. Anyone who may be interested in becoming a sponsor to Brittani may contact Patty Neidert, pageant coordinator, at 1-800-569-2487.
