Alliance to host legislative breakfast at San Jac
The Economic Alliance Houston Port Region will host its 2009 Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast at the San Jacinto College North campus on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
The breakfast, sponsored by the East Harris County Manufacturers Association (EHCMA), AT&T and CenterPoint Energy, will honor State Sens. Mario Gallegos (District 6), Mike Jackson (District 11) and John Whitmire (District 15); and State Reps. Ana Hernandez (District 143), John Davis (District 129), Randy Weber (District 29), Carol Alvarado (District 145), Wayne Smith (District 128) and Ken Legler (District 144).
The event will take place from 7 to 9 a.m. at the San Jacinto College North campus in the Monument Room of the Wayne Slovacek Student Center, located at 5800 Uvalde Road in Houston. Reservations are required. Ticket prices are $30 for individuals or $300 for a table of eight.
