Bank robbery suspects being sought in Cleveland

By VANESA BRASHIER
Updated: 07.03.09
Earlier this morning, a bank robbery took place in Shepherd at Peoples Bank. Initially police received information that one of the bank employees had been taken hostage but that appears to have been inaccurate information. All bank employees are safe and police are now looking for the suspects, according to San Jacinto County Pct. 2 Constable Tom Yates.

The search for the suspects is now taking place in Cleveland, where the getaway car was driven. The car has been located and police are combing the area looking for suspects. Currently the search is taking place near the intersection of Junction and Vine streets. All residents should report any suspicious persons immediately to police by calling 281-592-2622 or 911.
