Sugar Land police respond to area crime

Sugar Land police responded to a number of area crimes in various parts of the city.
On Jan. 6, at about 5:07 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Whole Foods, located at 15900 Southwest Freeway South, in response to a reported theft.
According to store personnel, a heavy-set female in her 30s to 40s, with dark hair and blonde streaks, was seen stealing seafood from the store. The woman was accompanied by two teenagers during the incident.
Several hours later at 9:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Hartman in response to a report of a man who had been missing for several hours.
According to family members, the man suffered from Alzheimers.
Officers located the man at 10:20 p.m. and returned him to his home.
On Jan. 7 at 12:53 p.m. police responded to a reported burglary in progress in the 4400 block of Tarlton Way.
According to the police report, three men were seen loading property from a house into a vehicle.
Officers stopped the vehicle at Highway 6 and Lexington Boulevard and found missing property from the home in the vehicle.
Three men, Justin J. Pervis, 22, of Houston, Denzel C. Johnson, 19, of Fresno, and Jermaine N. Jones, 23, of Houston, were arrested for burglary of a habitation.
