Tomball area crime report, Jan. 4-10
Theft:
On Jan. 7, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 27-year-old Magnolia woman for Theft. At approximately 5:02 p.m., the officer responded to a theft in the 28500 block of Tomball Pkwy., and the woman was arrested without incident.
On Jan. 10, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 19-year-old Montgomery woman for Theft. At approximately 1:10 p.m., the officer responded to a theft in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy, and the woman was arrested without incident. Approximately $187.16 worth of merchandise was recovered by the arrest.
On Jan. 4, a Tomball Police Department officer responded to a theft in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy. A suspect stole the victim’s purse as she placed bags in her car. Several items were stolen for an estimated loss of $472.
False Report:
On Jan. 8, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 29-year-old The Woodlands woman for False Report. At approximately 12:15 a.m., the officer responded to a reported Aggravated Assault in the 600 block of Holderreith. Upon investigation, the officer discovered that the woman had given him a false report of assault.
Narcotics Violations:
On Jan. 7, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 33-year-old Tomball man for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 12:36 a.m., the officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Holderreith. During an owner consented search, the officer discovered marijuana in the vehicle.
On Jan. 7, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 17-year-old Tomball woman for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 8:47 p.m., the officer made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the intersection of Orion and Polaris. During an owner consented search, the officer discovered marijuana in the woman’s purse.
On Jan. 7, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 19-year-old Rosharon man for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 10:14 p.m., the officer made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of E. Main. During an owner consented search incident, the officer discovered marijuana in the vehicle.
On Jan. 8, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 19-year-old Tomball man for Possession of a Controlled Substance. At approximately 5:18 p.m., the officer arrested the man for outstanding warrants in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy. During a search incident to arrest, the officer discovered marijuana in the man’s vehicle.
On Jan. 10, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 32-year-old Houston woman for Possession of Marijuana and a 25-year-old Porter man for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. At approximately 1:02 a.m., the officer arrested the man for Driving While Suspended License in the 700 block of E. Main. During a search, the officer discovered a dagger in the vehicle, which the man claimed, and marijuana which the woman claimed.
On Jan. 10, a Tomball Police Department sergeant arrested a 19-year-old The Woodlands man for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 3:30 a.m., the sergeant conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of E. Main. During a pat search for safety, the sergeant discovered marijuana in the man’s pocket, and during a search incident to arrest, more marijuana was discovered in his vehicle.
On Jan. 10, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 21-year-old Tomball man for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 12:15 p.m., officers arrested the man for outstanding warrants in the 300 block of Todd. During a search incident to arrest, officers discovered marijuana in the man’s room.
On Jan. 10, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 25-year-old Tomball man for Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. At approximately 11:12 a.m., the officer arrested the man for Driving While Intoxicated in the 13300 block of Zion. During a search incident to arrest, the officer discovered marijuana and Xanax in the man’s vehicle.
Driving While License Suspended or Invalid:
On Jan. 9, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 36-year-old Magnolia man for Driving While License Suspended in the 100 block of N. Cherry. At approximately 1 p.m., the officer conducted a traffic stop, and discovered that the man’s driver’s license was suspended.
Driving While Intoxicated:
On Jan. 7, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 29-year-old Houston man for Driving While Intoxicated.
On Jan. 10, a Tomball Police Department officer arrested a 35-year-old Waller man for Driving While Intoxicated.
