Missouri City hosts 13th Annual Dad and Daughter Dance

From staff reports
Updated: 01.06.09
For the thirteenth consecutive year, Missouri City is inviting area fathers and daughters to dance the night away at the Missouri City’s Annual Dad and Daughter Dance.

The dance will be held Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center at 1522 Texas Parkway.

“This year's theme for the dance is 'Under the Sea,’” Missouri City Recreation Specialist Jennifer Milam said of the upcoming event.

“The daughters will receive a keepsake gift and photo with their dad to remember this fun evening. They will be treated to cake and exciting door prizes, along with lots of fun. The event concludes with a confetti explosion, as in years past,” Milam said.

Dance tickets, on sale now, are expected to sell out quickly as in past years, according to coordinators.

Individuals who plan to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

Early Bird ticket prices are $20 per couple and $15 for each additional daughter.

After Feb. 2, the tickets increase to $25 per couple and $20 for each additional daughter.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 281-403-8637 or by visiting the Community Center during normal business hours.

A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
