Members and their families from Foresters, a member-based life insurance organization, put their teddy bear building skills to work at a Build-A-Bear Workshop at the Houston Galleria on Dec. 16. After the event the bears were taken to the Texas Children’s Hospital for the fifth annual “Cure Kids Cancer” Radiothon held on Dec. 19 – 20.

Foresters is the founding sponsor and international underwriting sponsor of the Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon. Foresters support means that every dollar raised during this Radiothon stays in the Houston community and goes directly to helping children at the Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

Over the past 18 years, Foresters commitment of more than $20 million has helped Children’s Miracle Network raise more than $275 million for 170 children’s hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.
