The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office reported the following incidents for the period of Dec. 27 through Jan. 2:
On Dec. 27, Deputy T. Hecker responded to a robbery of a business call at a Cricket store in the 3000 block of FM 1960 at Aldine Westfield. Two black adult males are being sought who used a knife to rob store employees during the early evening hours.
On Dec. 27, Cpl. O. Cahoon responded to a disturbance call in the 3100 block of Cottonshire Dr. where a male adult was arrested for assault.
On Dec. 28, Deputy Z. King arrested a male adult for outstanding warrants during a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Cypress Island.
On Dec. 28, Deputy M. Finley stopped a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of FM 1960. During this investigation it was discovered that the car was stolen from Lake Jackson and the driver, an adult male, was also in possession of a dangerous drug. The vehicle was recovered and charges were filed against the suspect.
On Dec. 30, Deputy B. Rivaux responded to an aggressive animal call in the 15800 block of North Place Dr. The dog was captured and the dog owner was identified, but in the process, the deputy was bitten and injured by the animal. Charges are pending.
On Dec. 31, Deputy G. Rodriguez responded to a call where a mail carrier truck was damaged by BB gun projectiles. Deputies found and arrested a juvenile male for criminal mischief in the 23800 block of Firegate Dr.
On Jan. 1, Deputy A. Smith responded to an alleged stolen vehicle call in the 16200 block of North Mist Dr. During the investigation it was discovered that the caller had been involved in a vehicle accident earlier that morning on the North Freeway and had abandoned his vehicle and left the scene. The caller, a male adult, was arrested for making a false report to police.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 2 reported no incidents for this period.
