Both Cody Green and A.J. Dugat of Dayton are finalists for the High School Sports Live Offensive Player of the year. Voting will be available through Monday, Jan. 12 on Houstons55.com website at http://www.houstons55.com/high-school-sports-live.
Other candidates are Pearland’s Kasey Carrier, Cy Woods’ Lucas Devilliers, Hightower’s Darius Johnson, Friendswood’s Jacob Karam, North Shore’s Barrett Matthews, Cy Creek’s Austin Puglies, Cinco Ranch’s Shane Ros, Cy Ridge’s Russell Shepard, Westbury’s Charles Sims and Pasadena Memorial’s Bo Snelson.
Green and Dugat are the only multiple representatives from the same school in the poll, another tribute as to what was a special team of Dayton Broncos in 2008. Area fans are encouraged to go to the website and support these two Bronco candidates.
