Team Extreme Wildstangs take 1st in big bats showdown

WALLER COUNTY - On November 22 & 23 the 10 AAA Team Extreme Wildstangs baseball team participated in the USSSA 11AA Big Bats Showdown in Pasadena. They won their 1st pool play game against the Pearland Raptors 9-5 and were defeated by the LHP Prospects in their 2nd pool play game 15-8. In Bracker play they defeated the Texas Sluggers 8-4 and advanced to the Championship game. The championship game was a close game up until the last inning, the Wildstangs scored 3 runs taking a 6-3 lead on the LHP Prospects. It was the first tournament of the season for this Wildstangs team not to mention the fact that they were playing up in an older division. We are very proud of the boys, Waller County had 3 boys participating on this team that is made up of players from The Woodlands, Spring, Shephard, Conroe, Anderson, Waller & Hempstead.
