Tiny Tot Basketball at the YMCA
The South Montgomery County YMCA is bringing back Tiny Toy Basketball to its youth sport program this winter. Designed for the younger child, ages 3 – 5years, Tiny Tot Basketball teaches the very basic fundamentals of basketball in a non-competitive and fun environment.
The program will run in a clinic format. Each clinic will be designed to teach the young players a new skill that will benefit them when they enter team basketball. The program will run for 4 weeks beginning February 7 - 28. Each clinic will meet on Saturdays at the YMCA gym on Shadowbend Place. Clinic Times are: 9:00am for 3 year olds, 10:15am for 4 year olds and 11:30am for the 5 year age group.
YMCA Sports staff will be leading all activities, but parents are encouraged to get involved and participate in the clinics along with their children.
To register, please stop by the YMCA located at 6145 Shadowbend Place or the Branch Crossing YMCA, 8100 Ashlane Way in The Woodlands. On line registration is available for YMCA Facility and Program Members at www.ymcahouston.org. Registration Deadline is January 56th. For more information please call 281-367-9622.
