Get creative with COM classes
The College of the Mainland Learning Center – North County in League City will offer three creative classes beginning in February.
A floral design class that covers basics to advance arranging begins February 16 and runs through May 11. The class meets Mondays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
A class on writing and selling short stories will start February 24 and meet Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. through April 7. And a three-hour introduction to the harmonica workshop will be held Wednesday, February 18 at 6:30 p.m. for anyone interested in learning the basics of playing a blues harmonica.
