The Woodlands College Park High School recently held its annual slugfest competition. Fifty teams competed in an intramural softball game.
This year’s winner was The Bomb Squad, led by College Park baseball’s Brett Mooney and Pat Kester. The Bomb Squad finished dominating its bracket by 5 p.m. and had to come back and play the second place team at 10 p.m. to win the title.
College Park baseball players John Alexander and Bret Hardinbrook led the second-place team.
Teams were made up of boys and girls from baseball players, softball players, cheerleaders, drill teams and other clubs from the school, from freshman to seniors.
