School holiday art on display
To celebrate the holiday season, Friendswood ISD is offering a holiday student art gallery at its website at www.fisdk12.net.
The artwork was selected from entries from all campuses through the art teachers.
All six campuses have art for viewing.
From Friendswood Junior High, the following artists’ work are on display: Hunter Kirland, Daniel Bellion, Emily Davis, Serie Jimenez, Julia Twyford, Jessica Perry, Tyler Tic, Emily Rives, Jennifer Nguyen, Maegan Mohr, Melanie Theriault, Hannah Sutherland, Alaina Bartholomew, Kristin Newtown, Susannah Smith, Caitlin Brayley, Caitlin Corbett, Patricia Palma, Caroline Hayo, Anna Herrmann, James Beltior, Uyen Huang, Rachel Truong, Bailey Woetjin, James Bellian, Hailey Hoskens, Avery Phan, Alyssa Bergeroni, Alyx Porter, Jillian Bergeron, Brooke Bartholomew, Kaitlyn Nu, Hannah Ratliff, and Katelyn Adam. Art teacher is Ron Brown.
At Westwood Elementary, the following artists have their work on the website gallery: Hailey Gest, Mackenzie Muecke, Kylie Channing, Paige Krail, Destiny Lay, Lauren Lowe, Riley Nickerson, Casey Guillot, Sydney Antill, Rianna James, Andy Nguyen, Katie Mulloy, Sallianne Roher, Gabbie, and Taylor Glidewell.
Art teacher is Jodi Blessitt.
Cline Elementary has the following artists in the gallery: Lane Alksne-Liles, Cara Lampman, Jalisa Hernandez, Jose Camacho, Caroline Mims, Amanda Hunt, Brook Galey, Kendall Cross, Caroline Velek, Audrey Sweeny, and Garrett Hurst. Art teacher is Dura Dittmar.
Bales’ artists include the following: Tina Nguyen, Shelbee Goodale-Brown, Gene Hutson, Esther Phillips, Lisa Nguyen, Blaie Dressendorfer, Madison Newsom, Delores Laza, Jessica Waltenbaugh, Elizabeth Westerfeld, Chelsea Vu, Evelyn Garcia, and Ashley Cao. Art teacher is Vicki Berk.

Art teachers are Jan Nemitz, Mary Giles and Jenifer Sundria.
Windsong Intermediate artists whose work is in the website holiday art gallery include the following: Isabelle Naylor, Madison Leslie, Walter Gray Martin, Nadia Enriquez, Brook Warwick, Nicholas Hatfield, Taylor Hrabovsky, and Rachel Mims. Art teacher is Anita Flake.
The artwork will stay on the website until classes resume after the winter holiday.
