Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon at the Two Sisters Game Room on Washington Street in Cleveland.

According to Narcotics Detective Scott Felts, who is handling the investigation, the robbery occurred at around 3 p.m. No one was injured in the robbery, but the game room attendants were understandably shaken up by the incident, said Felts.

The suspect, who is described as a black male in his mid to late 40’s with a stocky to average build, entered the game room and immediately approached the attendants to demand cash.

“He told them he was robbing them and presented a gun. He said he would shoot them if they did not cooperate,” said Felts.

After giving the man the cash that was on hand, the attendants were escorted by the robber to the women’s restroom. They reportedly were told to lock themselves in the room and count to 100 before exiting and calling police. He was gone when they came out.

Police have gathered a videotape that was taken during the robber. From that video, they hope to provide a photo to circulate to news media by Thursday or Friday.

Other identifying characteristics of the robber are that he had some possible acne scarring and was somewhat soft-spoken. He was wearing sunglasses and a cap.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Detective Felts at 281-592-2622.

As soon as the photo becomes available, it will be posted online at www.clevelandadvocate.com.
