Holiday calendar

Updated: 12.04.08
“Holiday Mail for Heroes” is led by the American Red Cross to deliver holiday cards to our servicemembers and their families. Senator John Cornyn encourages all Americans to send greetings to service personnel and he has provided helpful information on his website: www.cornyn.senate.gov.

This project is in effect from until Wednesday, Dec. 10.

The Red Cross and Pitney Bowes are teaming up to send holiday cards to service people around the world – those in training, serving overseas or recovering in hospitals and medical facilities across the country. The Red Cross and PB will screen the cards for hazardous materials, sort, package and deliver them.

Note: Military hospitals DO NOT receive and deliver cards. If they are addressed to the hospital, they will be returned.
