Hey’s homicide leads to three indictments

Betty Jean Fulton, 42, her husband Robert Lee Fulton, 39, and a family friend, Gordon Michael Hall, 22, have been indicted by a San Jacinto County Grand Jury for allegedly concealing the corpse of Betty Jean Fulton’s mother, Dorothy Mae Hey, 60.
Court documents state that Hall and the Fultons allegedly knew that Hey’s disappearance was being investigated and that they “intentionally or knowingly conceal[ed] a human corpse, to wit the corpse of Dorothy Hey.” All three face one count each of Tampering with Physical Evidence.
According to the Texas Penal Code, Tampering with Physical Evidence is a Second Degree Felony. Second Degree Felonies are punishable by a prison sentence of 2 to 20 years and a fine not to exceed $10,000.
Investigating authorities currently believe that Hey may have been killed in an argument with Fulton’s sister Roseann Duhon Klumpp, 36, on or about October 14 at a home shared by Hey and Klump in Jefferson Davis Parish, La. Authorities also surmise that after the killing, Hey’s body was transported to a storage facility in Iowa; from there authorities believe it was taken to the Fulton’s home in the Trail’s End Subdivision in San Jacinto County.
Klumpp is currently being held on a $600,000 bond in Jefferson Davis Parish. The Fultons and Hall remain in custody in San Jacinto County.
