Police Report
An officer arrived at the 6700 block of Chimney Rock at 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 29 to investigate a business that had been broken into. Police found that the rear wall of the building had been damaged and the suspect tried to open the safe.
At 9:47 a.m. on Nov. 29, another business on the same block was found to be damaged. The officer found visible signs of forced entry and saw a hole in the wall in the bathroom along with footprints. Nothing was found missing.
A victim at a home in the 5600 block of Whitehaven told an officer that copper tubing was missing from inside his home that is under construction.
At 7:58 p.m. on Nov. 24, an officer was dispatched to the 4300 block of Compton to investigate a home that was broken into. The officer observed forced entry and there were items missing from the home.
An officer responded to the 4600 block of Holly at 7:51 p.m. on Nov. 25 to meet with a victim who said his house had been broken into. The suspect entered through a window and stole property from the home.
An officer responded to the 100 block of Berkshire at 7:17 p.m. on Nov. 28 to meet with a victim that stated property had been stolen from her car. The incident occurred sometime between 6:50 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.
An officer went to Bellaire High School at 9:18 a.m. on Nov. 24 and met with an HISD police officer. The officer said a student had her cell phone stolen. The juvenile suspect was found and arrested for theft.
At 2:24 p.m. on Nov. 25, and officer met with a victim in the police lobby who stated that her wallet was stolen from her purse at a H.E.B. grocery store sometime that morning.
An officer went to the 5400 block of Holly at 12:20 p.m. on Nov. 26 to investigate a motor vehicle theft. The victim said their red jeep was missing and was taken sometime between Nov. 24 and Nov. 26.
An officer met two juveniles at the 5100 block of Maple on Nov. 24. The pair was caught with 1 gram of Xanax. Both individuals were taken into custody.
At 12:36 a.m. on Nov. 30, an officer made a traffic stop in the 5400 block of Bellaire. After further investigation, the officer found less than two ounces of marijuana.
