Philip John Smith indicted for sexual assault of a child
A San Jacinto County Grand Jury indicted Philip John Smith, 27, on November 21 on one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The court documents allege that in April of 2007 Smith knowingly caused the penetration of the sexual organ of an unnamed minor, under the age of 14, with his mouth.
According to the Texas Penal Code Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child is First Degree Felony and is punishable with a prison sentence of 5-99 years in prison and a fine not to exceed $10,000.
