Man’s identity used to purchase car

On Nov. 7, Precinct 4 Deputy A. Schmidt responded to a call of fraudulent use of identification in the 10800 block of Creektree.

The complainant said that he received a call from Chrysler Financial in reference to an outstanding balance of $440 on a car loan.

He also stated that the customer service representative advised him that he appeared to be the co-signer on a loan for a 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The man told the caller that he did not own a 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo and didn’t give anybody permission to use his personal information.


The case is currently under investigation.

Erratic driver points gun at man with son in car

On Nov. 10, Pct. 4 Sergeant Rouse responded to a call of an assault in the 16000 block of Grey Trail Court. A man told officers he was traveling on Bush Canyon, taking his juvenile son to a nearby school when a gray car came speeding towards him, honking and swerving.

The man took evasive action to avoid a collision before turning around and following the suspect to the intersection of Shadow Pass Trail and Lakewood Crossing.

He pulled up next to the car and told the woman driver that she was driving erratically. The suspect vehicle’s windows were up and were tinted. Through the glass, the female displayed a pistol in her right hand and rolled down the window to point it at him.

The man pointed to the back seat and told the woman he had his son in the car. The suspect immediately drove off and the complainant followed the suspect trying to get the license plate, but was unable to do so.

The suspect is described as a white female, 20 to 30 years old, slender build, with dark shoulder-length hair. Car is a gray Infinity 636 4-door. The rear of the vehicle displays a dealership sticker with the word “Katy” on it. The case is currently under investigation.

Woman’s purse stolen from unlocked house

On Nov. 12, Pct, 4 Sgt. J. Redd responded to a call of a burglary in the 16300 block of Kendon’s Way where a woman told officers that burglars had stolen her purse from a chair in her kitchen.

She said at about 2:30 p.m., she took her son to a park down the street and left her garage door up house unlocked.

The resident said that as she was leaving, she noticed two male subjects working on her neighbor’s house who appeared to be roofers. They were lingering around the front lawn next to their vehicle.

She described the vehicle as a red Ford F-150 pick-up truck. Shortly after the woman returned, she discovered her purse was missing.

The case is currently under investigation.

Cadillac driver fires shots

On Nov. 17, Pct. 4 Deputy Young responded to a call of a firearms discharge in the 10800 block of Broken Sky Drive. The complainant said the driver of a white Cadillac cut them off and shot two shots in the air while they were trying to exit the subdivision .

There were witnesses to the incident and statements have been taken. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office after further investigation.

Man’s home burglarized

On Nov. 18, Pct. 4 Deputy Walker responded to a call of a Burglary in the 18300 block of Alemarble Oaks.

A man arrived home around 6:05 p.m. and found that his residence was burglarized.

He said he noticed the garage door raised up half-way, so he went to the back of the residence and found the back door open.

He thought he saw someone still inside, but deputies searched the residence and didn’t find anyone. Several thousands of dollars in property were missing. A suspect has been developed and the felony case is currently under investigation.

Tractor trailer hits cars stopped because of accident

On Nov. 20, Pct. 4 Deputy Greif responded to a call of an accident involving a tractor-trailer and seven cars in the 3200 block of the Sam Houston Tollway.

Investigation of the crash revealed that two cars were involved in a crash and one of them rolled onto its side.

As traffic began to slow to a stop behind this accident, a tractor-trailer rear-ended another car, starting a chain reaction with several cars being pushed into the cars ahead. Investigators found that the truck was overloaded and the trailer brakes were defective.

Three persons were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injures
