" Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the committee/board (whatever they are) stated that even with this tax increase the problem would not be solved....
Sooooo why did 65% of the voting population decide to increase our taxes and just throw money at an ongoing problem? They are obviously going to need another tax increase again next year.
I don't believe taking more money out of my pocket and using it towards a problem that has not been thought all the way thru is going to do anything. They say that they will have to eliminate JV football and other arts and musical classes (which is fine with me); instead, how about we sell/auction some of the "company vehicles" and other unecessary items and raise money that way? Let's try some "Dave Ramsey" style budgeting to get this system where it needs to be and get out of MY pockets. "
