Pets of the Week

Updated: 11.20.08
Lady is a 1-and-a-half-year-old female medium-haired tabby cat. She is a sweet Lady looking for love and affection. You would not know by her wonderful looks that she was once a feral cat. Lady and her friends were found living by the Magnolia Sheriff’s Department. A lady who works there made sure the cats had food and water until she could find a safe place for them to go. She is an easy going, friendly girl who loves attention. Lady loves to be rubbed all over so please come in and give her a belly rub today. She wants more than anything to find a new best friend.

Jurson is a 6 1/2 month old male border collie lab mix. He and his five siblings were seen being chunked out of the back of a moving truck and survived with a few bumps and bruises. Five months later, Jurson and his brother Randy are still at the shelter waiting for that special someone to show them the world. Just like most 6-month-old puppies, he is still full of happy energy. He is an active guy who would love a yard where he could run and play and if possible another dog or kid to play with. He is an attention hog who loves to be hugged, pet and kissed. He is good with people of all shapes and sizes and he has a lot of love to give. Come take a walk with Jurson and give him a chance he will brighten your world.

Abandoned Animal Rescue is a non-profit no-kill animal shelter located at 419 East Hufsmith in Tomball. For more information call 281-290-0121 or visit www.aarescue.com.
