Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball team honor senior Brittany Williams and junior Lauren Flynn.

Williams, a former Lady Deer and 2005 graduate, and a four-year player with Texas A&M University-Commerce, was honored as part of Senior Night. Flynn, who broke a university record of 1,643 career digs on Oct. 11, was also recognized.

Over her 346 games, Williams has totaled 630 kills, 1,156 assists, 109 aces, 68 blocks and ranks No. 7 in the A&M-Commerce record books with 1,044 career digs. Playing multiple positions throughout her career, she moved back to her outside hitter role this season and led the Lions with 75 kills and 88 points through nine matches.

Flynn, a Lady Deer 2006 graduate, went into the Oct. 11 match against West Texas A&M needing just four digs to hold the top spot for digs in a career. She finished with 15 to overtake a 2002 University record and has since raised her career total to 1,779. She has averaged 5.75 digs per set throughout her career and leads the Lone Star Conference with 5.70 digs per game this season
