Police Report

At midnight on Nov. 16, an officer stopped a car in the 6200 block of Buffalo Speedway for operating without valid registration. After further investigation the driver was arrested for outstanding traffic warrants and the passenger was found in possession of marijuana.

An officer stopped a vehicle in the 6700 block of Stella Link at 11:09 p.m. on Nov. 22 for an illegal passing of another car. The driver of the car was found with marijuana and arrested for possession.

At 4:07 p.m. on Nov. 19, an officer arrived at the 3900 block of Marquette to find the reportee’s vehicle’s window shattered and items missing from the car. The items included a handbag, which was later discovered in the dumpster of a nearby shopping center.

Police were dispatched to the 5300 block of Belmont at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 21 in reference to a complainant finding their car window broken. A laptop computer and a GPS tracking system were missing.


An officer was dispatched to the 6100 block of Annapolis at 10:52 a.m. on Nov. 20. Sometime during the night, an unknown suspect had entered the construction site and took two heating units.

At 2:42 p.m. on Nov. 21, an officer stopped a driver in the 3600 block of Robinhood for failing to use the turn signal. The stop resulted in the arrested of the driver for driving while intoxicated.

Simple AssaultAt 7:33 p.m. on Nov. 21, an officer arrived at the 4200 block of Bellaire to meet with a witness. The reportee observed two men arguing then one male pushing the other. There were no injuries and the suspect was cited for simple assault.
