Holiday Expo set for Chamber

The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Holiday Expo on Thursday, December 11th, 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Shirley Acres, 217 Woerner Rd, Houston, 77090.

This annual event promises to be productive and fun for exhibitors as well as guests.

Jenna Burns with Houston Family Art Center and choirs from the local school districts will delight attendees with caroling as they meet and greet their business neighbors of northwest Houston.

The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce has been committed to their buy local campaign. “Buy Nearby” is a vehicle to increase the value of this community and the local business district. By supporting the businesses in this area, citizens are making an investment here. Area residents and business are encouraged to Buy Nearby this year, especially during the holiday season.


The goal of the Holiday Expo is to provide an opportunity for business to business networking, as well as an opportunity for the public to connect with their local businesses in a fun, friendly atmosphere as they celebrate and prepare for the holidays. The event regularly draws hundreds of visitors to booths staffed by local area retail, business product and service providers. There will also be opportunities for the public to order products directly from the exhibitors.

The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the community to attend the 2008 Holiday Expo. Exhibit booths are $150 for active Chamber members and $250 for non-members, price includes 2 lunches. Guests that are not exhibiting may purchase a lunch ticket for $25 to attend the Holiday Expo.
