Group presents Ike roof repair seminar
United States Public Adjusters announces a free educational seminar for all roof repair trades at the Stafford civic center at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8.

The massive destruction caused by Hurricane Ike, the third most destructive to ever hit the United States, on Sept. 12, has left thousands of homes in need of new roofs. Some insurance companies are balking at paying homeowners and commercial property owners enough money to complete repairs, leaving people struggling to get their homes and businesses back to normal.
Based on lessons learned from many hurricanes including Katrina, Wilma, and storms from the record-breaking 2004 season, U.S. Public Adjusters is presenting a free educational seminar for all roofing related trades. The featured speaker, prominent attorney William “Chip” Merlin Jr., of the Merlin Law Group, will be joined by former insurance company claims managers, independent adjusters and insurance policy underwriters as well as highly experienced Texas public adjusters.
