Lone Star College System to host 22nd annual small business awards banquet

Fifteen finalists have been selected for the Lone Star College System Small Business Development Center Business of the Year Awards, including three from Tomball.
More than 130 businesses were nominated for this prestigious award. The college system small business advisory council reviewed all nominations and selected 15 finalists, three from each community served by a Lone Star college.
The 15 finalists were recognized with a special luncheon on Oct. 30. Five award winners will be selected and announced at the 22nd annual Small Business Awards Banquet on Nov. 20 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
Sal Mira, the system’s small business center director, said the system is looking forward to a spectacular awards banquet to recognize these small businesses for their business achievements and contributions to our community.
“This year’s finalists represent a broad spectrum of industries from financial to real estate, to health care and interior design,” Mira said.
The finalists for the 22nd Annual LSC SBDC Business of the Year Awards are:

Gold sponsors for this year’s event are Sam’s Club and First Community Bank. Individual banquet dinner tickets are available at $50 each. A variety of sponsorship opportunities with recognition levels are available ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
