Narcotics

Nov. 13 (3:41 a.m.) – An 18-year-old Webster woman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance after she was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1400 block of W. Parkwood. She admitted to having the pills in her vehicle. A passenger,a 22-year-old male, address unknown, was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Pearland.

Nov. 10 (9:18 a.m.) – A 40-year-old Alvin man was charged with Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia. The man was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 400 block of E. Parkwood. The driver allowed officers to search the vehicle and the passenger was found to be in possession of a crack pipe.

Theft

Nov. 10 (2:30 p.m.) – A Friendswood resident reported the theft of a credit card. The card may have been stolen while the resident was at an area fast food restaurant in late October. The resident has recently learned that several unauthorized charges were made on the card in the Friendswood area.

Burglary

Nov. 12 (5:30 a.m.) – Several vehicles were found burglarized in the 700 block of British Woods in Whitehall subdivision. The window was smashed on one vehicle to gain entry and a purse was taken. Three other cars were found with their doors open and were wet inside from the overnight rain. Nothing was stolen from these cars.

Family Violence

Nov. 13 (8:52 p.m.) – A 63-year-old Friendswood man was charged with Terroristic Threat after he was involved in an argument with his wife and allegedly threatened to kill her and anyone who came to the house, located in the 3100 block of Autumn Leaf drive in Autumn Creek subdivision.

Driving While Intoxicated

Nov. 14 (5:58 p.m.) – A 19-year-old Friendswood woman was charged with DWI after she was reported to be driving erratically. She was stopped at Royal Court and E. Edgewood. She failed a field sobriety test and drug recognition exam. She provided samples for testing.

Nov. 14 (12:50 a.m.) – A 24-year-old man from Orange Park, FL was charged with DWI. The man reportedly almost struck an officer who was parked on the side of the road in the 3200 block of W. Parkwood. He failed a field sobriety test and measured .201 on a breath test. A passenger in the car, a 32-year-old man from Vancleave, MS, was found to be in possession of a drug pipe and was charged with Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia.

Nov. 14 (2:59 a.m.) – A 27-year-old Alvin woman was charged with DWI after she was stopped for a traffic violation in the 700 block of W. Parkwood. She failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Nov. 14 (3:14 a.m.) –An 18-year-old Pearland man was charged with DWI with an Open Container, after he was observed driving erratically in the 700 block of W. Parkwood. He failed a field sobriety test and registered .117 on a breath test. Officers found an open bottle of vodka in the vehicle.

Nov. 13 (1:34 p.m.) – A 39-year-old Alvin woman was charged with DWI. The woman was involved in a vehicle collision in the 100 block of E. Parkwood. She failed a drug recognition exam and admitted to having taken Soma and hydrocodone. No one was injured in the collision.

Identity Theft/Fraud

Resident reports someone using her bank card information to access an ATM in France

Resident reports someone using his bank card information to make a purchase in Florida.

Resident reports that after returning to Texas from London, he found that someone had

used his credit card information to purchase a round trip ticket from London to Miami.

Resident reports someone using his bank card information to make multiple purchases at

Houston area Walgreens.

Resident received a letter and check claiming she had winnings from a contest she never

entered. Resident promptly contacted police and did not deposit the check.
