The Clear Creek Independent School District will host two informational meetings on Nov. 11 and 13 in effort to educate parents and community members of the affects that House Bill 1, the public school finance bill, has had on the District’s ability to keep pace with student needs and growth in the Clear Lake Area.

The meetings are:

November 11, 2008 at 7 p.m.

Clear Lake High School Auditorium, 2929 Bay Area Boulevard, Houston 77058

November 13, 2008 at 7 p.m.

These informational meetings are part of the District’s new community outreach and education program called the Compass Series. The Compass Series will be held throughout the school year and will cover educational issues important to parents, students, staff, and community members.
