Man wanted in local bank robbery


Police release surveillance images of bank robber

Sugar Land Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank Saturday on the Southwest Freeway.

The robbery took place Nov. 1 at the Guaranty Bank, 14100 Southwest Freeway, at 12:48 p.m.

The man entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. Police report the robber left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 20 to 30 years old, with a thin build. He was wearing a red jacket, a baseball cap, dark pants and white tennis shoes.
