Traffic stop yields drug haul

Friendswood Police seized more than 250 doses of various prescription medications during a traffic stop Friday night.

Around 9 p.m. Friday, Friendswood Police stopped a vehicle driven by a Houston woman, Michele Sibouyeh, 23, for a traffic violation. The stop occurred in the 100 block of Sunset Drive.

During the stop, officers reportedly spotted several pills in plain view inside the car. A search subsequently yielded a bag of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and bottles containing 84 hydrocodone pills, 111 Soma pills, 31 Xanex pills, 26 Adderall pills and 2 Ecstasy pills.

Sibouyeh was charged with two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, with bonds of $10,000 each; one count of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, with a bond of $20,000, Possession of a Controlled Substance with a bond of $5,000 and Possession of Marijuana with a bond of $1,000.

A passenger, Jason Carroll, 23, of Pearland, was charged with two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, with bonds of $40,000 each; one count of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, with a bond of $60,000, Possession of a Controlled Substance with a bond of $20,000 and Possession of Marijuana with a bond of $1,000.

Detectives are reviewing the case and further investigation is possible.
