Oct. 17

A resident on Wexford Court reported that someone had obtained a credit card without authorization using their social security number.

Oct. 18

At approximately 9 pm. an MVPD officer initiated a traffic stop in the 11600 block of Memorial Drive for speeding. The female driver, a Rosenberg resident, was arrested for traffic warrants through Sugar Land Police Department.


Oct. 19

At approximately 3:30 a.m. an MVPD officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Voss in reference to an intoxicated person. A male was found in the area and the Houston resident was arrested for public intoxication.

On October 19th at approximately 4:00 a.m. an officer located a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot in the 11600 block of Memorial Drive. The two male Houston residents were arrest for public intoxication.

Oct. 20

At approximately 9:30 a.m. an MVPD officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Voss Road. Upon arrival he located a crashed vehicle and two subjects in the area. A male and a female Houston resident were arrested for public intoxication.

A builder working in the 11600 block of Starwood reported that three air conditioner units were taken from the jobsite within the last three days.

Oct. 21

Spring Valley Village Police responded to a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle on Hilshire Grove Lane in Hilshire Village. The victim advised that she had left her purse in her vehicle after parking on the street and later discovered that someone had broken into the vehicle and stole her purse.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. MVPD officers took a burglary of a vehicle report in the 8600 block of the Katy Freeway. Entry was made by breaking a window and personal items were taken.

Oct. 22

At approximately 9 p.m. an MVPD officer investigated a motor vehicle crash in the 11400 block of Memorial Drive. One of the male drivers, a Houston resident, was arrested for traffic warrants through Piney Point Village.

Oct. 24

Spring Valley Village Police responded to a report of a theft of cash and a coin purse from a residence on Hilshire Grove Lane in Hilshire Village. The victim suspects a home health care provider may be responsible for the theft.
