Missouri City officers make rounds in area neighborhoods

Missouri City police officers responded to a variety of calls from residents in neighborhoods throughout the city.
On Oct. 30, officers responded to more than a dozen false home burglary alarms and animal related calls, a routine welfare check and four reports of noise disturbances.
Police also responded to a burglary of a residence, two reports of suspicious activity and one suspicious person, who was gone when police arrived.
Police were dispatched to three minor accidents at 1230 Birchstone Drive, 3507 Glenn Lakes Lane and one on Independence.
Police issued a DWI to a driver on Highway 6 and responded as back ups in three routine arrests by other local law enforcement agencies.
Officers also responded to several citizen assistance calls at 2710 Oak Hill Drive, 2127 Quai Valley East Drive, 3849 Cartwright Road, 3603 Ridgeview Drive and 2019 Cartwright Road.
