District One – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

On 9/10/08 Deputy Peckne was dispatched to the 16,000 block of N. Emerson Circle, in Conroe, in reference to a theft of a boat. This investigation resulted in two arrests. Two seventeen year old males were found to be in possession of the boat. The aluminum John Boat was recovered and returned to its owner. Both seventeen year old males were arrested.

 

On 9/14/08 Deputy Bourne responded to the 9,000 block of Twin Shores, in Willis, in reference to a violation of a protective order. Aaron Myers, 37 year old male, was located at the location after being served one day earlier with the protective order. Myers has arrested and transported to Jail. This case is pending prosecution.

On 9/18/08 Deputy Peckne was dispatched to the 10,000 block of Stidham Road, in Conroe, in reference to a disturbance. While investigating the disturbance call, a 21 year old male was found to be in possession of dozens of Hydrocodone and Soma pills which he had no prescription for. This individual was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug.

On 09/22/08 Deputy Terrell was responding to the IH45 and Calvary Road area in reference to an illegal dumping call. She arrived on location and located a vehicle parked at the location. A 25 year old male identified as Richard Beaupre was identified as the driver of the vehicle. Richard was also suspected of harassing a female who lived within walking distance from the vehicle. Richard was arrested when Deputes found a loaded semi-auto pistol in the fold of the vehicle.

On 9/29/08 Deputy Salazar was responding to an Assault –Family Violence at the 12,000 block of Andwood, in Willis, when he located and arrested a 46 year old male for assault, public intoxication and an active warrant for Felony possession of a controlled substance.

 

 

District Two – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County)

 

091908 at 1601 hours, Dep. Richardson and Dep. Cranston were dispatched to N. Blair Bridge Drive in reference to a Criminal Mischief call. Upon arrival the deputies met with a Park Ranger who had received a call from a resident in reference to a picnic table on fire. When the Park Ranger arrived the resident had already put out the fire, minimizing the damage. The table received an approximate 12 inch by 12 inch burn on the top, three boards will need to be replaced. No suspects were identified.

 

On 092108 Dep. Wakefield was dispatched to the Rayford Rd area for a welfare check. Witness called and stated that she was worried about her husband who had left to go to the store with their son. Her son she noticed had a gun on his person. Dep. Wakefield while responding, noticed a vehicle matching the description from the call dispatched had just aired. Dep. Wakefield proceeded to stop the vehicle and get both the driver and the passenger out and checked their identification. Due to the possibility of a weapon on the one subject, he was placed in handcuffs for safety purposes. A search of the subject did not produce a weapon. However with consent from the driver, the vehicle was searched and the weapon was recovered along with a bag containing several electronic items and women’s wallets. At this time the first of 5 Burglary of Motor Vehicle calls were coming into dispatch. The owner of the recovered gun had called and reported his vehicle had been broken into and his gun (matching recovered weapon) was missing. The subject, HM17, was taken into custody for Theft of a Firearm and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Upon arrival he stated he had taken 20-30 Xanex pills and was then transported to the ER where his stomach was pumped. No evidence of the medication was found and he was again transported to the jail where he was booked in on the above charge.

On 092608 at approximately 1113 hours, Dep. Wroten was dispatched to a Theft past call on I-45 South. The complainant stated that their receptionist had been making personal purchases on the company credit cards without permission. In a res gestae statement from the suspect WF20, stated she had been using the card to pay bills that were due. She was unsure how much she had charged, only that she had been doing it for 3-4 months. The DA Office was contacted and charges for Credit Card Abuse were accepted. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On 092108 at 1840 hours, Dep. Fruge was dispatched to a restaurant on I45 North for a Theft report. Upon arrival he met with the restaurant manager who stated that a couple had left without paying their entire bill. The total came to $62.10 and they only paid $33. The couple left in such a hurry that the female customer left her wallet. When the suspect returned to retrieve the wallet she was advised that they still owed $29.10. She refused to pay and ran off again. Dep. Uber located the suspects vehicle in the Timber Lakes Timber Ridge subdivision and made contact with the subjects. Both were issued citations for Class C Theft >$50.

 

On 09/22/08 at approximately 1935 hours, Dep. Moody was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Rayford Road. The driver of the Truck WM 37, in a res gestae statement, stated he was driving the truck and rear ended the Camry. He identified himself with a Texas Driver’s License. While speaking with the subject, Dep. Moody noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that grew stronger as the subject spoke. The subjects eyes were bloodshot and glassy, his speech was slurred and he was having a hard time keeping his balance. Dep. Moody is certified in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and proceeded to administer the exam. The subject was too intoxicated to follow instructions and perform the test correctly. The subject was taken into custody for Driving while intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

 

District Three – Lt. James Fleming (East County)

 

On September 22, Deputy C. Curry was sent to the 21800 block of South Park on a welfare concern. On arrival the Deputy made contact with a highly intoxicated female that was depressed. The 51 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 10:15pm and transported to jail.

 

On September 23, Deputy J. Walker was dispatched to the 23300 block of Roberts Road in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy met with a female who stated her husband was threatening her. The male made reference to killing her and himself. The 30 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 1:00am and transported to jail.

On September 23, Deputy A. Cross was notified of a forgery in the 20100 block of Hwy 59 at the Brookshire Brothers store. The Deputy met with a pharmacy technician who advised a female called in posing as a nurse at a doctor’s office wanting to add a refill to an existing prescription. This same person had called in on September 16 trying to get the prescription refilled. The Tech told the female it would be refilled. The female arrived and was detained. The 41 year old female from Houston was arrested at 5:53pm, charged with forgery and transported to jail.

On September 24, Deputy C. Evans was summoned to an accident scene in the 23000 block of Hwy 59 by another Deputy. The male driver was being detained for suspicion of DWI. He had driven his vehicle into a ditch. The 36 year old male from Porter was arrested at 2:15am and transported to jail.

On September 24, Deputy J. Bruce was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a theft. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a female for shop lifting. The total amount taken was $155.37 worth of merchandise. The 18 year old female from Porter was arrested at 11:40pm and transported to jail.

 

On September 25, Deputy J. Armstrong was sent to the 16500 block of Live Oak Square in reference to a criminal mischief and attempted theft. The Deputy was advised by Corporal D. Miller that a male driving a red Ford pickup truck was seen attempting to take a transformer from the side of the road. While attempting to load the transformer onto the truck the male spilled a large amount of oil on the roadway from the transformer. The oil had also run into the ditch. The male had left the scene. The male was located a short time later. The transformer was valued at $1550.00 and the environmental cleanup from the oil spill would cost $4600.00. The 35 year old male from Porter was arrested at 11:36am and transported to jail.

On September 25, Deputy S. Ortiz was notified of an assault in the 17400 block of Spanish Oaks. The Deputy met with the female complainant who was in an ambulance about to be transported to a hospital with facial injuries. The female suspect had fled the scene. The female suspect later returned to the scene and Deputies were able to detain her. The 20 year old female from Louisiana was arrested at 9:00pm and taken to jail.

On September 25, Deputy R. Ashmore was dispatched to the 12300 block of Anmar Drive in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she attempted to stop an argument between her former brother-in-law and his girlfriend. The male grabbed the complainant by the neck and punched her in the face. The 45 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 10:00pm and transported to jail.

On September 26, Deputy C. Evans was notified of an intoxicated male seen stumbling in the parking lot in the 20100 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy located the male who told the Deputy he was in Humble and then said he was in Conroe. The 28 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:29am and transported to jail.

On September 26, Deputy S. Ortiz was sent to the 20800 block of Loop 494 in reference to an assault. The Deputy met with an intoxicated male who advised he had been assaulted by another male that had left the scene. The other male was located by other Deputies and after interviewing witnesses the Deputies found that the first male had been lying. The 33 year old male from Montgomery was arrested at 4:41pm and after checking his criminal history was found to have an outstanding warrant for burglary of a habitation out of Dallas County. He also had two JP 4 Montgomery County warrants. He was transported to jail.

On September 28, Deputies C. Evans and L. Ray responded to the 19300 block of Sara Dean Lane in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputies met with a male complainant who advised his wife was extremely intoxicated and started an argument with him, started throwing things and had attempted to strike him with a knife. Witnesses verified what had happened. The 32 year old female from Porter was arrested at 4:53am and transported to jail.

On September 28, Deputy S. Ortiz was notified of a theft at the Wal-Mart in Porter. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a male for shop lifting. The male left the store passing all points of sale and was stopped. The male had taken $18.00 worth of merchandise. The 45 year old male was arrested at 7:05pm and taken to jail.

Warrants served:

A 21 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:45pm, September 22, in the area of Hwy 105 and Lawrence by Deputy G. Harman for a failure to identify as a fugitive warrant and a prohibited weapon warrant, both out of Montgomery County. The male was stopped on a traffic stop. He was transported to jail.

A 39 year old male from Porter was arrested at 3:05pm, September 23, in the 20900 block of Idle Glen Road by Deputy C. Turrentine for a public intoxication warrant and a failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The male was additionally charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. The male was transported to jail.

A 31 year old male from Houston was arrested at 9:30pm, September 24, in the 20000 block of Crystalwood by Deputy J. Bruce for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon warrant out of Harris County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The male was transported to jail.

An 18 year old male from Porter was arrested at 10:45am, September 27, in the area of North Park Drive and Rock Creek Drive by Deputy J. Amstutz for three JP 4 Montgomery County warrants. The male was stopped on a traffic violation. The male was taken to jail.

On September 27, Deputy C. Azwell was dispatched to the 23500 block of Mace Drive in reference to a trespassing call. The Deputy met with a male suspect who gave a false name. The Deputy found out the male’s true identity and located two warrants out of Montgomery County, one for public intoxication and one for failure to appear. The 37 year old male, address unknown, was arrested at 8:15am and transported to jail. The male was also filed on for failure to identify as a fugitive.

A 33 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 1:05pm, September 27, in the 1800 block of Peach Creek Valley by Deputy D. Rippley for a terroristic threat warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The male was transported to jail.

A 28 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 9:21pm, September 27, in the 14700 block of Quinette Drive by Deputy G. Harman for a delivery of a controlled substance warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The female was transported to jail.

A 41 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 2:57pm, September 28, in the 15800 block of Tram Road by Deputy A. Cross for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The male was taken to jail.

 

 

District Four – Lt. Arthur Galloway (West County)

Deputy E. Diaz was dispatched and responded to Samantha Ln., met with the complainant and obtained information for stolen digital camera valued at $250.00 and medication valued at $20.00.

This case referred to CID/detectives.

Deputy K. Williams was dispatched and responded to Mink Lake Dr. and met with the complainant who stated he had to leave his residence during Hurricane Ike due to trees falling and his house and garage. Upon his return to his home he discovered 2 firearms had been stolen. Firearms valued at $450.00. This case referred to CID/detectives.

Cpl. A. Sumrall was dispatched and responded to Horseshoe Trail and met with the complainant who stated somebody broke into his house and stole 3 firearms with a total value of $1,850.00. This case referred to CID/detectives.

Deputy T. Slusher was dispatched and responded to Shady Dr. where he met with the complainant who stated she left her residence on 9/18/08 due to the approaching hurricane. Upon her return she discovered someone had been in her home and stolen various items totaling $160.00. Deputy Slusher was able to obtain some evidence which he submitted to MCSO crime lab. This case referred to CID/detectives.

On 9/23/08 Cpl. F. Webb was dispatched to Hazy Hollow Ln. in reference to Burglary of a Vehicle. Upon arrival at the location Cpl. Webb met with the complainant who stated that sometime during the night time hours someone had stolen the Kenwood stereo system from a 1995 Ford Ranger. The estimated cost to replace the stereo is $300.00. This case referred to CID/detectives.

On 9/24/08 Cpl. A. Sumrall was dispatched to Hardin Store Rd in reference to Burglary of a Habitation. Upon his arrival at the location he met with the complainant who advised his house had been broken into after he and his wife left (due to the hurricane and not having any power). Upon their return they discovered various items (electronics, jewelry, and miscellaneous) had been stolen from throughout the house. The estimated dollar loss was reported at $2,625.00. This case referred to CID/detectives.

On 9/25/08 Cpl. A. Sumrall was dispatched to Misty Meadow in reference to a theft call. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant and obtained information for the report. The complainant reported that a generator had been stolen from the back side of his house. The cost of the generator estimated at $700.00. This case referred to CID/detectives.

On 9/25/08 Cpl. A. Sumrall was dispatched and responded to El Paso in reference to a Burglary of Habitation call. He arrived on location and met with the complainant who stated that while she was away from her home, due to the Hurricane, some had made forced entry into her home by prying the back door open. The unknown suspect(s) had then stolen a variety of electronic items totaling $4,850.00. This case referred to CID/detectives.

On 9/27/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched and responded to Tall Pines in reference to a Theft call. Upon her arrival she met with the complainant who a stated a chainsaw, covered by two rugs and located on his concrete and roofed porch, valued at $350.00 had been stolen. This case referred to CID/detectives.

On 9/29/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched and responded to Shady Oaks Blvd in reference to a Theft. When she arrived she met with the complainant who advised a riding lawnmower, valued at $700.00 had been stolen. The mower was parked under a lean-to on the back of a storage building. When a friend came over to mow for the complainant he found the mower missing. This case referred to CID/detectives.

On 9/29/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched and responded to Misty Meadow in reference to a Criminal Mischief call at a business location. Upon her arrival she met with the complainant who advised when he arrived at work this morning he found one of the front office window shattered. The approximate cost to replace the glass is $385.00. This case referred to CID/detectives.

District Five – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

September 20, 2008 @2:50 pm. Cpl. D. Wilkins responded to a Recovery of a Stolen Vehicle in the 20200 block of Forest Woods Ln. The reportee told Cpl. Wilkins that he found what he believed to be a stolen vehicle in his barn. The vehicle was infact reported stolen and towed to a storage lot. A deputy with Auto Theft Task Force will respond to the location of the stolen vehicle and process it. The suspect that stole the vehicle is involved in several other cases that occurred during the after math of hurricane Ike. The Task Force will continue investigating this case. This case is being reported late due to hurricane Ike.

September 23, 2008 @ 8:07 am. Deputy R. Garlock responded to a Burglary of a Habitation in the 18100 block of Firepipe Lane. The complainant said she left her home on September 21st and returned on the 23rd due to not having any electricity. Entry/Exit was made through the back door and it is not able to be locked. The suspect(s) in this incident stole jewelry, chairs and a appliance dolly. The total lost was $2,300.00.This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

September 23, 2008 @ 2:55 pm. Deputy W. Shotwell responded to a building check with the complainant on a home he is renting in the 12100 block of Hawthorne Dr. The person (suspect) who was renting the home was being evicted and had move his personal belongings out of the home. The complainant also believes the suspect stole his refrigerator valued at $1,350.00. The identity of the suspect is known and his new address is known. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

September 23, 2008 @ 6:23 pm. Deputy C. Favorat responded to a Burglary of a Habitation call in the 18500 block of Bethel Road. The complainant said he left his home at 5:30 am on the 23rd and returned at 5:30 pm to find his front door kicked in. The suspect(s) entered the home and stole over $1,511.00 worth of handguns and knives. There were other items stolen also. There was several pieces of evidence left at the scene by the suspect(s). The evidence was transported to the Crime Lab for processing. The stolen weapons were entered into NCIC/TCIC as stolen. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

September 28, 2008 @ 6:44 am. Deputy R. Thompson responded to an accident in the 20000 block of FM 1097. One of the driver in the accident was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested. He was also found to have in his possession a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. The suspect was charged with those offenses also. The suspect was placed in the Montgomery County Jail and bound was set at $750.00.

District Six – Lt. David Dottei (South County)

On 09/18/08 at approximately 1740 hours, Dep. Hook was dispatched to a business on Six Pines Drive in reference to a theft. Upon arrival Dep. Hook met with the sales clerk who stated that two female customers had taken several pairs of glasses and ran out of the store. Total value of items taken was $1675.00. On 09/19/08 the glasses were returned to the store.

On 09/22/08 at approximately 1600 hours, Dep. Godden was dispatched to a business at 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Dep. Godden met with the complainant who stated that the suspect, W/F 17, had purchased an item, but set the alarm off as she was leaving the store. Upon checking her bag, the clerk discovered a pair of shoes and perfume that the suspect had failed to purchase. Items taken were valued at $90.00. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On 09/25/2008 at approximately 1500 hours, deputies were dispatched to a home on Woodway Court. During the course of the investigation officers checked two subjects for safety purposes. One W/M 17, was found to have blue and red pills, later identified as Vyvanse. The subject stated they were given to him and he did not have a prescription for the pills. The other subject W/M 22 was in his vehicle when officers asked if they could search the vehicle. The subject gave them permission, and during their search a bag was found with more of the blue and red pills (Vyvanse). The DA’s office was contacted and charges for Possession of Controlled Substance. Both subjects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On 09/27/08 at approximately 1141 hours, Dept. Rizk was dispatched to a business at 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Dep. Rizk met with the Loss Prevention Officer who stated that he observed a subject W/M 25, that he had previously apprehended at another location, enter the Men’s Collection Department. The subject selected several Lacoste shirts and proceeded to the Men’s Fitting Rooms. After the subject exited the fitting room area the stall was checked and it was discovered that merchandise was missing. The subject passed several points of purchase without attempted to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where he was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and after a brief struggle was escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $452.00. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

On 09/28/08 at approximately 2152 hours, Cpl. Gonzales conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding on IH 45 South. The driver, W/F 23, appeared nervous and had a strong odor of perfume coming from her. Cpl. Gonzales asked her if she had anything in her vehicle and she stated no. He conducted a person and vehicle check on her at that time. He then again asked her if she had any drugs, alcohol or weapons on her person or in the vehicle. She stated she did have an open container in the vehicle and consented to a search of the vehicle. Cpl. Gonzales found the open container she stated was there as well as her open purse on the passenger seat. Sitting in the purse was a torn baggie containing a white powder substance which field tested positive for cocaine. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. The DA’s office accepted charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 09/28/08 at 1950 hours, Dep. Parks was dispatched to a business at 3040 College Park Dr. in reference to shoplifters in custody. Upon arrival he met with the Loss Prevention Officer who stated he observed the suspects, WF 52 and WF 33, enter the domestics department where one subject selected several pillow cases and a set of sheets. After selecting the merchandise, WF52 then concealed the items in empty store sack. Both subjects then proceeded to the jewelry department, WF33 selected a pair of sunglasses, removed the tag and placed the glasses on her head. The also selected several grocery items and concealed in more empty store sacks. The subject then proceed to the checkout where a select few items were purchased. Concealed items were sitting in another cart. After making their purchase they proceeded out of the store with all items, without making any attempt to purchase the concealed items. Both were stopped by security personnel and escorted back into the store to the security office. Recovered merchandise was 327.52 in groceries, 95.48 in bedding and 8.00 in children’s clothes. Total merchandise recovered was 431.69.

There are others, but I'm not the editor here! I'm so disappointed in the Courier for deleting comments, and since they feel that readers views and opinions are that unimportant; then I'll stay over at Montgomery County Monitor and cancel my subscription to the Courier. C-Ya "

They must have a lot of time on their hands or have a very boring life that they must nose their way into someone elses. What a shame. "
