COMMUNITY SPORTS CALENDAR
KAC VOLLEYBALL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE
The Kingwood Athletic Club and TeamONE are seeking participants for their girls volleyball development leagues.
The registration cost is $220.
Due to Hurricane Ike, the start of the seasons have been pushed back to allow more people to register. However, there are roster limits for each league. The fifth- and sixth-grade league will be limited to 60 girls. The third- and fourth-grade league will be limited to 24 girls.
There is also a seventh- and eighth-grade league for interested parties.
Sign-ups are being held at the Kingwood Athletic Club through October 9. Play begins the week of October 12.

Kingwood Yoga is holding fall registration for classes and birthday parties for children ages 4-12 and teens 13 and up.
Classes meet for one hour and are available several times per week.

Registration for the fall recreational season of the Texas HeatWave soccer club is in full swing.
Players ages 4-18 are invited to join the fun while learning about the sport.
Parents can register their children online anytime at txheatwave.com.
The cost for U4/5 and U6 players is $80, while U7-U19 players is $95.
Fees include uniform, team photos, trophies for all players U4 to U8, regular season games and an end-of-season tournament.

All FFPS games are played locally. FFPS gives children a fun and fair experience including one practice per week, a full uniform and trophy for every player, equal playing time, opportunities to play every position, coed/balanced teams, positive coaching and more.

Mothers will work out indoors on blankets with their babies in their arms.
Instructors will be using playtime to firm up mommies with pushup kisses, airplane ride crunches, sun salutations with tickles and giggles, and so much more.
Babies should be well-rested and nourished.

Many people are using the Pilates reformer with great success after experiencing a hip or knee replacement, low back pain, a stroke or a host of other age-related difficulties.
