Felony defendants sentenced

HEMPSTEAD - The Waller County District Attorney’s Office disposed of a number of felony cases in July and August.

The defendant, the defendant’s age and town of residence, the charge(s) and the disposition of the case includes:

* Richard, Joseph Manse, 31, Prairie View: Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon by a Felon; 10 years Texas Department of Corrections; $314 Court Costs.

* Jordan, Levi Jr., 39, Alvin: Theft; Seven years Texas Department of Corrections; $314 Court Costs.


* Stamps, Terry Jr., 22, Brookshire: Robbery and Possession of a Con-trolled Substance; Five years Texas Department of Corrections and $314 Court Costs on each charge.

* Hefelfinger, Johnny Ray, 47, Hempstead: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender; Four years Texas Department of Corrections; $314 Court Costs.

* Granderson, Henry, 25, Hempstead: Poss-ession of a Controlled Substance w/ Intent to Deliver; Three years Texas Department of Corrections; $314 Court Costs; and Possession of a Controlled Substance; Nine months State Jail; $314 Court Costs.

* Jock, Gregory, 30, Henderson: Failure to Stop and Render Aid; Two years Texas Depart-ment of Corrections; $314 Court Costs.

* Jeffery, Joffrey Lionel, 34, Waller: Un-lawful Restraint; Two years Texas Department of Corrections; $314 Court Costs.
