Magnolia library now open for business after hurricane

The Malcolm Purvis Library, 510 Melton St. in Magnolia, is among the six Montgomery County Memorial Library System branches now open as of Sept. 22.

The Magnolia library has resumed normal business hours.

Some computer and phone services may be limited based on location, but information services have been restored at these six branch libraries. Priority for use of computers, Internet, and meeting rooms will be given to customers who need information related to the hurricane recovery.

One out of the system’s seven libraries is still closed due to storm damage.


Visit the library web site at www.countylibrary.org for the latest updates and to renew books, place items on hold, and download free digital media, including videos, eBooks, and MP3 audio books.

R.F. Meador Branch Library, 709 W. Montgomery, Willis, TX 77378

CLOSED:

The George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library, located at 8125 Ashlane Way, The Woodlands, TX 77382. As of press time the library was without electricity and to remain closed until power is restored.
