Last chance to register today for Nov. 4 election
Today is your last chance to register to vote for the Nov. 4 general election.
You can find voter registration applications at most public libraries and U.S. Post Offices.
In Harris County, you can also register through any of the 16 tax offices or download a form at www.hcvoter.net.
A dropoff for voter registration forms will be open until midnight tonight at the Harris County Administration Building, 1001 Preston St., at the first-floor north side rear entrance.
Prospective voters must be residents of the county in which they intend to register, must be turning 18 by election day, a U.S. citizen, not declared mentally incompetent by a final judgment of a court of law or convicted of a felony or have satisfied the court’s requirements after a felony conviction or received a pardon.
