Mustangs lose to Willis in four sets
Baley, Nanny, Alexiou combine for 37 kills

The Lady Mustangs lost to Willis, Sept. 26, 25-22, 23-25, 18-25, 23-25. The team played very competitively and has proven to become a factor in the playoff race. Hannah Baley led with 14 kills and Karli Nanny and Sophia Alexiou had 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Roxy Neufeld had 15 digs and Madison Fitzgerald had 29 assists. The team is now 9-13 overall and 1-2 in district.
The JV squad defeated Willis in two sets, 25-21, 25-17, with Ashley Allen leading with five kills. Halley Burford had 14 assists. The team is 2-0 in district.
The freshmen team also came out on top, defeating Willis, 25-21, 25-21. Monique Blanchard had five kills and Samantha Novotny had 16 assists.
