Cougars Beat College Park
Running back Adam Hirtz rushed for 171 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Cinco Ranch to a 35-23 win over College Park in a non-district game at Rhodes Stadium Friday night.
Leading just 28-23 late in the fourth quarter, Hirtz capped an 11-play, 78-yard drive with a seven-yard run for the final margin.
Hirtz, who had a school record 207 yards last week, also had a 45-yard touchdown reception on the final play of the first half for a 28-7 lead at the break.
Three Cinco Ranch turnovers in the second half enabled College Park to close the score with touchdowns.
