Sept. 27 Peace party canceled due to Ike

Lone Star College-Tomball student organization, STARS, has canceled its annual Children’s Peace Day Party scheduled for Sept. 27 due to the temporary closure of the LSC-Tomball Community Library.
STARS plans to reschedule the event, but no date has been set. It is unknown at this time when the library is to reopen.
