Senior Center has cancellations, but daily activities resume
The Friendswood Senior Center is now open and all daily activities are resuming their regular schedule.
However, the End of the Year Report and Luncheon scheduled for Sept. 22 was canceled. The Senior Program hopes to reschedule it in the near future and will make announcements once a new date has been chosen. Lunch service, provided via the Galveston Senior Center will not be available throughout this week, Sept. 22 - 26.
The Senior Program trip to Paragon Casino, the Bay Watch Tour, and Putt-Putt Golf all scheduled for last week were canceled and refunds will be issued. The Friendswood Senior Program wishes everyone the best in post Ike recovery and looks forward to seeing local Seniors again soon at the center.
