Steve Wheeler, EOC coordinator, provided the following information:
• Commodities – none scheduled to arrive today.
Cleveland’s 213 form was submitted; however, Liberty County included Cleveland’s request with theirs. When commodities come in through a ‘joint request’ the commodities go to Liberty County – not necessarily to Cleveland. Cleveland is following the ‘chain-of command”.
• Shelter not set up yet, will happen soon.
Still waiting on a generator.

• National Guard – 35 guardsman are here!
Assisting with food POD and possibly night patrol
• DPS – only getting 2 to 4 troopers. Will request more.
• Electricity – we have none
• Waste Management – may not have service until Wednesday. Phone number has been provided to food stores for roll offs to assist with spoiled goods. Commercial service to some degree each day.

At 3 a.m., generator at water well went down. Have it repaired for now.

Shortage of oxygen; issue being resolved. Otherwise running smoothly.

Expressed concerns from individuals who heard ‘rumor’ going that Cleveland had not requested any assistance which was not true.
4 arrests in the last 24 hours; 1 drug, 1 burglary,
3 DPS officers here last night.

1,000 roll offs are now available from Waste Management. Phone number was given to local food stores.

ATT has had issues with their cell towers. Appears generators are now in place.
• No school until power is restored.
• Debris removal – will begin 3 days after electricity is restored. Will make 3 passes through neighborhoods with 5 days between each pass
• Information will be given on Radio 105.3 FM (7 a.m., noon & 5 p.m.) and 99.9 FM.

• The City has established a curfew – 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• The Mayor reported that Dr. Shaffer on College Street will be in his office all day tomorrow.
• National Guardsman Lt. Robinson said that MREs were downloaded at the RSA this morning. Hopefully they will be delivered later today, but not sure because of the ‘missing’ 213. Bananas (from Wal Mart), cheese cakes (from Senior Citizens), cabbage, and water were distributed.

150 w generator came in yesterday – worked only 10 minutes. Hopefully will have full power later today. Dialysis Company is running (had had issues, but now resolved. Cool weather has been a big help.
• Carl Williamson wondered what the gas situation was outside of Cleveland. Reports were given that about 60 miles out of Cleveland, it is readily available.
