Public transit canceled until Monday

While Fort Bend County continues to help residents in need and assess damages, public transportation provided by TREK and commuter services to Texas Medical Center have been cancelled for the remainder of the week.
According to a county statement, services are scheduled to begin on Monday, Sept. 12. The county encourages all those scheduled on the Demand Response buses to call 281-633-RIDE (7433) to confirm your appointment for pickup.
While the Department of Public Transporation will hold services for the rest of the week, Fort Bend County offices and the District and County Courts opened on Tuesday, Sept. 16 with the exception of:
*Precinct 2 Justice and Service Center on 303 Texas Parkway, Missouri City
*Precinct 3 Justice Center at 12550 Emily Court, Sugar Land.
hese offices will remain closed until utilities are restored.
Those called for Jury duty are required to appear.
All Fort Bend County Libraries will be closed until further notice. Library books and other items should not be placed in the book return at the First Colony Branch Library in Sugar Land. Those items may be returned at George Memorial Library, 1001 Golfview in Richmond.
