College hosts learning fair Sept. 10
Lone Star College-Tomball is to host a learning fair for students to show them all about the resources available to them on campus.
Activities begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 10 in the commons and include a time of game teasers, a treasure hunt, games of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” and “Jeopardy.”
At noon in the commons, college administrators, professors and students will act as life-size chess pieces in a game. A time to meet the players begins at noon and the game is set to begin at 12:15.
Students can also pick up informational hand outs, put their names in for prize drawings, win theater tickets and get their height, weight and blood pressure measured.
