Hunter education course to be held Sept. 9 - 11

WALLER COUNTY - Texas Parks and Wildlife in cooperation with the Waller County Office of Texas Cooperative Extension will be offering the Mandatory Hunter Education Course.

The course will be offered Tuesday-Thursday, Sept. 9-11 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the extension office at 846 Sixth St. in Hempstead. Class fee is $15.

A parent must be present the first night for minors to provide enrollment information and, to be certified, one must attend all three nights. Age requirements are 9 years or older. The class is open for all.

Hunter Education is mandatory for all hunters over 9 years or who were born after Sept. 1, 1971.


Please reserve your place at the Extension Office by calling (979) 826-7651. Class size is limited. Make checks payable to Steve Shrock who will be the certified Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunter Education instructor.
